Editorial policy

This page exists so you can judge how much to trust the rest of the site.

Where the facts come from

• Coordinates and administrative regions come from Wikipedia and are checked against a bounding box for the Iberian Peninsula.
• Opening hours, ticket prices and closing days come from the operator’s own website, not from other travel blogs.
• Transport times come from the operator’s published timetable.
• Anything that can change carries the date it was checked. Undated figures should be treated as unverified.

What we do not do

• We do not write first-person accounts of places nobody on this site has been to. Where a page cannot draw on direct experience, it says what can be verified instead.
• We do not accept payment for coverage. No hotel, tour operator or tourist board has any say in what a page says.
• We do not publish a page to fill a gap. An unwritten destination shows its facts and says the guide is still being written.

Corrections

Errors of fact get fixed and the page’s modified date updated. If a correction changes the advice rather than a detail, the change is noted on the page itself.
